April Fools' day is irrelevant here, just to remind you.

There's a high chance that RM: Katarina will be discontinued, just like any of my projects. I can't contact the other two developers of this project, who helped me in creating the said project. And I have a hard time to continue the project myself because I have too a life. I'm not a nerd.

Someone had contacted me that there is a performance issue in the current version, high CPU usage. This will be the temporary— or maybe a permanent fix for this issue:

Problem found:

• High CPU usage when Sidebar is loaded.

Solution:

• Right-click the Rainmeter tray icon, then select "Refresh all" under "Edit settings" or open the Rainmeter manager, then select "Refresh all" located at the lower-left of the window.
• If Sidebar is unnecessary for you, unload the skin.

Thank you for the report.

Updates:

-Added Sidebar. It is similar to Windows 8's Charm, get a bit hand of Windows 8 experience with this if you're Win7-older! Although, we are currently improving this, adding more functions to this skin.

Changes in 1.0d 3rd Batch Update:

• Katarina's voice feedback (AI System) is now optimised for low-end PCs. There's this 2nd batch of feedback from our testers that the AI System slowed their low-end PC down, so we diagnosed the AI System and found the issue. We have already fixed this by using built-in method (Rainmeter callback).
• Update interval is now optimised. Hovering on a meter shows the tooltip, with a faster interval, flickering was the result which is annoying. Already optimised this.
• Added extra launcher for Windows 8. This skin is really dedicated to Windows 8 as we (the team) are all already using Windows 8/8.1, but we considered the earlier versions of Windows.
• Fixed width and height limit. There are some string or meter has "pixel-wastes," which slows down the system. Already optimised this.
• OS Requirement is changed to Windows 7 and later versions. There are no changes in Rainmeter version.

NOTE: Current version is still on 1.0d. Please take a look at the sidebar, it is always updated no worries about it. Again, no 1.0e to be expected, we are expanding 1.0d currently to make it more user-friendly.

Update:

• Tooltip texts are revised.
• Limited Avatar Changer's pixel size to 64x64; in some cases, the image is blurred or jagged. So we decided to limit it to 64x64.

Please be aware that we are not yet releasing 1.0d on live. We are currently improving it greatly from 1.0c Preview. And no, there is no 1.0e to be expected obviously.

I am releasing two versions of Katarina - Rainmeter Project:

-With voice feedback; and
-Without voice feedback

The With Voice Feedback version has a size of 10MB (Partial) since we're using different system for using the voice feedback.

Don't worry, it wouldn't go over 25MB.
